What does Globy localize?
Globy lets you assign product images and alt tags by market or country, so shoppers can see visuals that match their language, packaging, sizing, or regional requirements.
How are shoppers matched to localized images?
You can use IP geolocation or Shopify Markets data, depending on how your store handles localization.
Does it require theme code changes?
The app is designed around a Shopify theme app embed. Once enabled, it can replace product media on supported storefront surfaces without manual template edits.
Can I translate alt tags without replacing images?
Yes. You can manage translated alt text independently when the original image is still correct for that market.
Where can localized images appear?
Supported placements include product pages, collection pages, cart pages, and search results, depending on the active theme and configuration.
